Removal And Installation
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- When removing using a remover, be careful not to damage the parts.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
- Remove the heater & A/C control unit (DATC).
(Refer to Heating, Ventilation And Air Conditioning - "HEATER & A/C CONTROL UNIT (DATC) ")
- Remove the fingerprint recognition module (A), after removing the screws.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
- If either one of head unit or Fingerprint Module (FPM) is replaced, "AVN-FPM Learning Mode" under AVN S/W Management must be performed.
(Refer to Audio & AVN Head Unit - "LEARNING METHOD ")
- If either one of Identity Authentication Unit (IAU) or Fingerprint Module (FPM) is replaced, "IAU-FPM Learning Mode" under digital key system S/W Management must be performed.
(Refer to Digital Key System - "LEARNING METHOD ")
- Device learning must be performed. It is a key creation process for encrypted communication.
- Make sure the connector is connected properly.
- Replace any damaged clips or retainers.
