Disassembly And Reassembly

  1. Remove the paddle shifter after removing the screws (A).

  2. Disconnect the connectors and remove the paddle shifter (A).

  3. Remove the steering wheel lower cover (A) after removing the screws.

  4. Disconnect the haptic motor connector (A).

  5. Remove the haptic motor (A) after removing the screws.

  6. Disconnect the remote control switch connectors (A).

  7. Disconnect the boost mode switch connector (A).

  8. Remove the steering wheel bezel (A).

  9. Disconnect the heated steering wheel connector (A).

  10. Remove the horn plate & steering wheel extention wiring (A) after removing the bolts.

    Tightening torque: 

    1.7 - 3.8 N.m (0.18 - 0.38 kgf.m, 1.3 - 2.7 lb-ft)

    NOTE:
    • Do not reuse the horn plate stopper bolts.
    • When deploying the driver airbag, be sure to observe the specified torque as it affects securing the holding force.
  11. Reassemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
    NOTE:
    • When assembling the steering wheel, be careful not to damage the parts by tightening with excessive torque.
    • Disconnection or short circuit may occur if the main wiring is not held in place when mounting the steering wheel lower cover.
