Fuel Pressure Release
- Remove main fuse box cover and engine coolant reservoir from bracket. Remove main fuse box attaching screws. From underneath fuse box, release 2 locking tabs of fuel pump relay. See Fig 1
.
- Disengage fuel pump relay from fuse box and remove harness connector. Remove fuel filler cap to relieve tank pressure. Start engine and idle until engine dies. Engage starter again for about 10 seconds to ensure fuel line pressure is dissipated. Turn ignition off. Install fuel pump relay.
