Injector (TBI): Installation

  1. Apply thin coat of fuel to new injector "O" rings. Install "O" rings on injector. Insert injector into throttle body. Carefully install injector wiring harness grommet to housing.
  2. Install injector cover and tighten mounting screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table at end of article. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Pressurize fuel system and check for leaks.
