EGR Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove air cleaner assembly and related duct work.
2. Disconnect EGR gas temperature sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove EGR gas temperature sensor.

INSTALLATION

1. Coat threads of EGR gas temperature sensor with anti-seize compound.
2. Install sensor and torque to 30 N-m (22 lb. ft.).
3. Connect electrical connector.
4. Install air cleaner assembly and related duct work.
