Chart 9B-2 - Cruise Indicator Light Does Not Flash Set/Coast Test: Notes
When cruise control switch is moved to SET/COAST position and ON/Off button is pressed, CCM enters a self-diagnostic check mode. During this test CCM checks set/coast circuit. If the circuit is okay, CRUISE indicator light flashes 2 times every second.
NOTE:
Numbers below refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart.
- Checks circuit to CCM for shorts.
- Checks for set/coast signal to CCM.
- Checks for shorts in set/coast circuit.
- Checks for faulty wiring in set/coast circuit.
