Stator Test

  1. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between stator leads. See Fig 1 (STEP 1). If resistance is greater than 5 ohms between stator leads, replace stator.
  2. Check for continuity between stator leads and stator core. See Fig 1 (STEP 2). If continuity exists, replace stator.
