Ignition Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Distributor from vehicle.

Distributor Rotor Removal:

2. Distributor rotor.
3. Ignition coil dust cover and gasket from housing.

Distributor Igniter Coil Removal:

4. Three screws and three wires from the igniter terminals.

Distributor Igniter Coil Removal:

5. Two screws and the igniter from distributor housing.


INSTALL OR CONNECT

6. Igniter to distributor housing. Secure with two screws.
7. Three wires to igniter terminals. Secure with three screws.
8. Ignition coil dust cover and new gasket to housing.
9. Rotor to distributor housing.
10. Distributor to vehicle.
