Functional Check

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Press washer switch and release. Windshield washer pump should squirt washer fluid on windshield. On models equipped with intermittent wiper system, wipers should make 2 sweeps and return to park position.
  2. On models not equipped with intermittent wiper system, move wiper/washer switch to MIST position and release. Wipers should complete one full sweep and return to park position.
  3. On all models, move wiper/washer switch to LO position. Wiper should operate at low speed.
  4. On all models, move wiper/washer switch to HI position. Wiper should operate at high speed.
  5. On models equipped with intermittent wiper system, move wiper/washer switch to INT position. Adjust delay time up and down. Wipers should operate in intermittent mode with delay times changing with adjustment.
  6. On all models, move wiper/washer switch to OFF position. Wiper should complete cycle and return park position.
