Preliminary Checks

Ensure POWER WINDOWS CIRCUIT BREAKER (50-amp) is good. Ensure ground connection, located on firewall behind center of instrument panel, is clean and tight. Ensure window lock switch, located in left front door, is in UNLOCK position (released). Before component replacement, check for poor connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminals.

NOTE: Some components incorporate a short harness between component and connector. Wire color may be different from that used in main harness. Check wiring diagram for wire color conformation.
