Powertrain Control Module (Pcm)
NOTE:
See PIN VOLTAGE CHARTS
article and appropriate wiring diagrams in WIRING DIAGRAMS
article for PCM connector and wire terminal identification.
PCM is located under left side of instrument panel. On models with manual transmission, PCM power is sent from main relay to PCM connector "C", terminals No. 12 and 13. PCM backup power is received from fuse box to PCM connector "C", terminal No. 1. On models with automatic transmission, PCM power is sent from main relay to PCM connector "A", terminals No. 3 and 16. PCM backup power is received from fuse box to PCM connector "A", terminal No. 4.
NOTE:
Components are grouped into 2 categories. First category is INPUT DEVICES, which are components that control or produce voltage signals monitored by PCM. Second category is OUTPUT SIGNALS, which are components controlled by PCM.
