Shift Control Cable
- Ensure that reverse gear engages. Remove center console. Place shift lever in "D" position. Remove lock clip and control cable pin. Check that hole in cable end is aligned with holes in selector lever arm.
- If not, loosen lock nuts on control cable and adjust as required. Tighten lock nuts and install pin with lock clip. If pin does not go in easily, further adjustment is required. Check gear operation. See Fig 1 .
