Cold Engine
- Ensure engine coolant temperature is below 59°F (15°C). Disconnect vacuum hose to distributor advance diaphragm B. Connect a vacuum gauge to hose.
- Start engine and check for vacuum at idle. If vacuum is present, go to Warm Engine test. If no vacuum is present, replace thermovalve B and retest.
