Checking Fluid Level
- With vehicle on level floor and at normal operating temperature, stop engine. Clean area around dipstick and unscrew dipstick. Remove dipstick and wipe clean, then insert into hole but do not screw down.
- Remove dipstick and check level. Fluid should be between upper and lower marks. Add fluid as necessary. After checking fluid level, screw the dipstick in securely. DO NOT use a wrench.
