Before starting testing or trouble shooting, ensure other items that affect engine performance are within specifications. Check valve clearance, air cleaner and PCV valve. In addition, check ignition timing, function of vacuum and centrifugal advance and spark plug condition. It is also necessary to obtain System Checker Harness (07999-PD60000A
) to test components.
