Intake Air Temperature/Coolant Temperature Sensor (Ta/TW Sensor)
- Unplug connector and remove TA/TW sensor from intake manifold/cylinder head. To test sensor, suspend in cold water and heat water slowly. Measure resistance between terminals.
- Resistance should be 980-1340 ohms at 95°F (40°C) and 220-350 ohms at 176°F (80°C). Replace sensor if not within specifications.
