Cruise Control Cannot Be Set

  1. Check fuse No. 4 (7.5 amp) located in underdash fuse box. Replace fuse as necessary. Check main switch. See MAIN SWITCH under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. Check cruise control unit inputs. See CRUISE CONTROL UNIT INPUT under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING.
  2. Check ground connection G301 located in left side of engine compartment next to windshield washer fluid reservoir. Check ground connection G401 located behind left kick panel. Check ground connection G402 located behind right kick panel. Repair ground connections as necessary.
  3. Inspect the following wires for open circuit: Black/Red wire between fuse No. 4 (7.5 amp) located in underdash fuse box and main switch located on instrument panel, and Light Green wire between main switch and cruise control unit connector. Repair wires as necessary.
