Throttle Position Sensor: Description and Operation

PURPOSE/OPERATION
The TP Sensor is a Potentiometer. It is connected to the Throttle Valve Shaft. As the Throttle Position changes, the Throttle Position Sensor varies the voltage signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM).
