WARNING:
Vehicles are equipped with air bag supplemental restraint system. Before attempting any repairs involving steering column, instrument panel or related components, see SERVICE PRECAUTIONS and DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM in appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article.
CAUTION:
All SRS wire harnesses are covered with Yellow insulation. Before you disconnect any part of an SRS wire harness, connect the short connector. Whenever the ignition switch is "on" (II), or has been turned "off" for less than three minutes, be careful not to bump the SRS unit, the airbags could accidentally deploy and cause damage or injuries.
