Keyless Door Lock Control Unit
- Remove driver's pocket on left side of dashboard. Disconnect keyless door lock control unit 18-pin harness connector. Check keyless door lock control unit harness connector for loose, damaged or corroded terminals. If problem exists, repair as necessary and retest system. If connector is okay, go to next step.
- With keyless door lock control unit connector disconnected, perform input tests at indicated keyless door lock control unit connector terminals. See Fig 1
. If any input test is not within specification, locate and repair problem, then retest system. See WIRING DIAGRAMS
. If input tests are within specification, go to next step.
- Connect keyless door lock control unit connector. Perform input tests by backprobing indicated keyless door lock control unit connector terminals. See Fig 2
. If any input test is not within specification, locate and repair problem, then retest system. See WIRING DIAGRAMS
. If input tests are within specification, replace keyless door lock control unit with known-good keyless door lock control unit and retest system.
