Power Brake Unit Check Valve

  1. Disconnect vacuum hose on power brake unit side of check valve. Place finger over check valve. Start engine. If vacuum is present, go to next step. If vacuum is not present, replace check valve.
  2. Remove check valve. Apply vacuum to power brake unit side of check valve. Valve should hold vacuum. If vacuum does not hold, replace check valve.
