Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery terminal. Locate PCM. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS in SYSTEM & COMPONENT TESTING article. If PCM is located under center console below radio. Pull back carpet from both sides of enter console. Remove mounting screws. Remove PCM. If PCM is located under passenger's side floor, remove right door sill molding. Pull front passenger side carpet back to access PCM. Remove PCM cover screws. Disconnect PCM connectors. Remove mounting screws. Remove PCM. To install, reverse removal procedure. If PCM is located behind front kick panel, remove kick panel. Disconnect PCM connectors. Remove mounting screws. Remove PCM. To install, reverse removal procedure.
