'06-09 model

  1. Connect the HDS to the data link connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
  3. Monitor the System Check in the Immobilizer Info with the HDS.
  4. If the HDS displays the "Immobilizer system is normal", the immobilizer system is OK. If the HDS displays any other messages, check as follows:

A-1 The key is not registered
  • This key is not registered in the immobilizer unit. Try to register keys by using "KEYS".
  • The communication was not good between the antenna and the immobilizer key by influence of metal such as key chains.
  • Low battery voltage .
A-2 Communication error between key and immobilizer unit
  • Intermittent interruption between transponder and immobilizer unit.
  • The immobilizer key type is different. It is not for this vehicle but for another one or for other company's one.
  • Key failure (transponder failure)
  • The communication was not good between the antenna and the immobilizer key by influence of metal such as key chains.
  • Low battery voltage
A-3 No communication between the key and immobilizer unit
  • The ignition switch was turned on with a non-immobilizer key.
  • The immobilizer key type is different. It is not for this vehicle but for another one or for other company's one.
  • Key failure (transponder failure)
  • The communication was not good between the antenna and the immobilizer key by influence of metal such as key chains.
  • Low battery voltage .
  • Immobilizer control unit-receiver failure
B-1 The ECM is not registered
  • The ECM was not registered. Try to register the ECM by using "REPLACE ECM".
  • The communication was not good between the ECM and the immobilizer control unit-receiver by battery voltage low.
  • The communication was not good between the immobilizer control unit-receiver and the ECM by influence of some noise.
  • OPEN in the IG1 line
B-2 Error communication format in ECM
  • The ECM was not registered. Try to register the ECM by using "REPLACE ECM".
  • The communication was not good between the ECM and the immobilizer control unit-receiver by battery voltage low.
  • The communication was not good between the immobilizer control unit-receiver and the ECM by influence of some noise.
C1* The imoes unit is not registered
  • Imoes unit was not registered
  • No communication between the imoes unit and the immobilizer control unit-receiver because of low battery voltage.
  • No communication between the imoes unit and the immobilizer control unit-receiver because of interference.

D-1 S-net line short
  • Harness short from the ECM to the immobilizer control unit-receiver. (S-net line short)
  • The communication was not good between the ECM and the immobilizer control unit-receiver by battery voltage low.
  • The communication was not good between the immobilizer control unit-receiver and the ECM by influence of some noise.
  • Immobilizer control unit-receiver failure
  • ECM failure
D2 No communication between imoes unit and immobilizer unit
  • Blown fuse
  • Harness open from the ECM to the immobilizer control unit-receiver.
  • No communication between the imoes unit and the immobilizer control unit-receiver because of low battery voltage.
  • No communication between the imoes unit and the immobilizer control unit-receiver because of interference.
  • Immobilizer control unit-receiver failure
  • Imoes unit failure.
D-3 No communication between ECM and immobilizer control unit-receiver
  • Blown fuse
  • Harness open from the ECM to the immobilizer control unit-receiver.
  • No communication between the ECM and the immobilizer control unit-receiver because of low battery voltage.
  • No communication between the immobilizer control unit-receiver and the ECM because of interference.
  • Immobilizer control unit-receiver failure
  • ECM failure
E1 Initial registration of immobilizer control unit-receiver is not completed The immobilizer control unit-receiver is not registered. The immobilizer control unit-receiver using the HDS.
E2 Initial registration of immobilizer control unit-receiver is not completed The immobilizer control unit-receiver is not registered. The immobilizer control unit-receiver using the HDS.
E3 Initial registration of immobilizer control unit-receiver is not completed The immobilizer control unit-receiver is not registered. The immobilizer control unit-receiver using the HDS.
E4 Initial registration of immobilizer control unit-receiver is not completed The immobilizer control unit-receiver is not registered. The immobilizer control unit-receiver using the HDS.
E5 Initial registration of immobilizer control unit-receiver is not completed The immobilizer control unit-receiver is not registered. The immobilizer control unit-receiver using the HDS.
F1 Special Mode Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) and to LOCK (0) with the registered key.
F2 Special Mode Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) and to LOCK (0) with the registered key.
F3 Special Mode Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) and to LOCK (0) with the registered key.
F4 Special Mode Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) and to LOCK (0) with the registered key.
F5 Special Mode Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) and to LOCK (0) with the registered key.
F6 Special Mode Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) and to LOCK (0) with the registered key.
