Trunk Lid Latch Replacement
NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the body.
- Take care not to bend the cylinder rod.
- Remove the trunk lid latch as shown below.
- Install the latch in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly and the opener cable is connected properly.
- Make sure the rod actuates the latch before you close the trunk lid.
- Make sure the trunk lid opens properly and locks securely.
