Powertrain Control Module (Pcm): Notes

NOTE: Engine Control Module (ECM) is used on vehicles equipped with manual transaxles/transmissions. Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is used on vehicles equipped with automatic transaxles/transmissions. ECM will be referred to as PCM.

NOTE: An immobilizer system may be used on Honda vehicles as an anti-theft device. If PCM is replaced, programming must be done with all keys present, using Honda PGM Tester and Immobilizer program card. See appropriate IMMOBILIZER SYSTEMS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
