Inside Tailgate Switch Test/Replacement

Carefully pry out the inner tailgate switch (A), and disconnect the 6P connector (B) from switch.

Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table shown in Fig 2.

If the continuity check is not as specified, replace the illumination bulb or the switch.
