Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor (2005-2006 models: Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor 1)

The ECT sensor (2005-2006 models: ECT sensor 1) is a temperature dependent resistor (thermistor). The resistance of the thermistor decreases as the engine coolant temperature increases.
