Humidity/In-Car Temperature Sensor

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2015 Honda Crosstour, 2014 Honda Crosstour, 2013 Honda Crosstour, 2012 Honda Crosstour, and 2011 Honda Accord Crosstour. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The humidity sensor consists of two sensors. One sensor is for humidity detection, and the other is for in-car temperature detection. When the climate control unit receives signals about the in-car condition from the humidity sensor, and judges that the humidity in the vehicle is very low, the climate control unit reduces the compressor runtime. Engine power loss is kept to a minimum, and fuel economy is increased.
