Anti-Theft Feature: Notes
The audio-navigation unit or audio unit (except 1 line display type) has an anti-theft protection circuit. When one of the following occurs, the unit enters the anti-theft mode.
- The battery is disconnected.
- The audio-navigation unit connector A (24P) or audio unit connector A (24P) is disconnected.
- The No. A2-4 (+B Fl MAIN) (30 A) fuse from the main under-hood fuse/relay box or No. B15 (20 A) fuse from the under-hood fuse/relay box.
When the audio-navigation unit or audio unit is reconnected to the power and the ignition switch is turned to ON (II), ENTER CODE is displayed.
You can exit the anti-theft mode without entering the 5 digit anti-theft code when the audio-navigation unit or audio unit is connected to the vehicle. Press and hold the VOLUME/POWER knob for 2 seconds to exit the anti-theft mode. You can also enter the 5-digit anti-theft code.
When the audio-navigation unit or the audio unit is installed in another vehicle (same Year/Model), you have to enter the 5-digit anti-theft security code. After that, you can release the anti-theft mode by pressing and holding the VOLUME/POWER () knob.
