DTC B1352: Power Tailgate Control Unit Internal Error (EEPROM Error)

NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see
TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
- Remove the No. B16 (10 A) fuse from the under-hood fuse/relay box.
- Wait for 1 minute, then reinstall the No. B16 (10 A) fuse to the under-hood fuse/relay box.
- Close the tailgate manually (not with the power tailgate switch).
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1352 indicated?
YES -Replace the power tailgate control unit (see CONTROL UNIT INPUT TEST/REPLACEMENT ).
NO -Intermittent failure, the power tailgate control unit is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections at the power tailgate control unit.
