Power Sliding Door Control Unit

- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
- Remove the left rear side trim panel (see TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - REAR SIDE AREA ).
- Remove the power sliding door control unit (see POWER SLIDING DOOR MOTOR UNIT REPLACEMENT ).
- Disconnect connector A (12P), B (16P), and C (5P) from the power sliding door control unit (D).NOTE: All connector views are wire side of female terminals.
- Inspect all the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.
- If the terminals are bent, loose or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system.
- If the terminals look OK, go to step 6.
- With the connectors still disconnected, do the following input tests:
- If the test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
- If the input test proves OK, go to step 7.TEST CONDITION CHART

- Reconnect all connectors to the power sliding doors control unit, and do the following input tests:
- If the test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
- If the input test proves OK, go to step 8.

GRN(2) - Blown No. D13 (20 A) fuse in the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box

C1 WHT(1) Under all conditions Measure the voltage to ground: There should be battery voltage. - Blown No. C33 (40 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box
- An open in the wire
RED(2) - Blown No. A3-8 (AS PSD MTR) (40 A) fuse in the main under-hood fuse box
- An open in the wire
C2 BRN Under all conditions Measure the voltage to ground: There should be less than 0.2 V. C5 BLK B2 B11 BLU Shift lever in P position Measure the voltage to ground: There should be less than 0.2 V. - Poor ground (G101) or an open in the ground wire
- Faulty transmission range switch
- An open or high resistance in the wire
Shift lever in any position other than P Measure the voltage to ground: There should be about 5 V. - Should to ground in the wire
