WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2017 Honda Odyssey, 2016 Honda Odyssey, 2015 Honda Odyssey, 2014 Honda Odyssey, and 2013 Honda Odyssey. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
This assembly operates cables that release the front and rear slide door latches, pulls the inner handle lower roller latch release linkage, triggers the 4 remote control switches and activates the fail-safe lever cable. The assembly includes the remote control switches, the door lock actuator, the release actuator, the door lock, the child-proof lock, and the inside door handle linkage.
- Remote Control Switch 1 (A)-This switch signals the power sliding door control unit that the outside door handle is being pulled toward the open direction. The remote control switch 1 operation is the same when the child lock is in the ON or OFF position. However, when the door handle is in the open position, it signals that the door handle is being pulled toward the close direction.
- Remote Control Switch 2 (B)-This switch signals the power sliding door control unit that the inside door handle is being pulled toward the close position.
- Remote Control Switch 3 (C)-This switch signals the power sliding door control unit that the inside door handle is being pulled toward the open position. However, if the child lock is engaged, and the door is fully closed or ajar with ratchet switch input, remote 3 is cancelled to prevent opening the door from the middle row.
- Remote Control Switch 4 (D)-This switch indicates whether the child lock is in the ON or OFF position.
