Front Mode Control Motor Replacement: Removal

NOTE: Set the HVAC control to the VENT position before removing the motor.

Remove the headlight leveling control unit (see HEADLIGHT LEVELING CONTROL UNIT INPUT TEST/REPLACEMENT ).
Disconnect the 7P connector (A) from the front mode control motor (B), then remove the self-tapping screws and the front mode control motor from the heater unit.
