Front Impact Sensor Replacement: Installation

Install the front impact sensor with a new TORX bolt (A), using a TORX T30 bit. Connect the engine compartment wire harness 2P connector (B) to the front impact sensor (C).

Do the 12 volt battery terminal reconnection procedure (see RECONNECTION ).
Clear any DTCs with the HDS (see HOW TO CLEAR DTCS ).
Confirm proper SRS operation: Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and check that the SRS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes off.
Reinstall all removed parts.
