ATF Cooler Replacement

  1. Remove the front bulkhead cover (see FRONT BULKHEAD COVER REPLACEMENT ).
  2. Remove the front bumper (see FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  3. Disconnect the ATF cooler hoses (A) from the ATF cooler lines.

  4. Remove the splash shield (B), and remove the ATF cooler and cooler hoses assembly (C).
  5. Install a new ATF cooler and cooler hoses assembly.
  6. Slide the cooler hoses (A) over the ATF cooler lines (B) until the hose ends (C) contact with the bulge (D), and secure the hoses with the clips (E) at 6-8 mm (0.2- 0.3 in) (F) from the hose end.

  7. Make sure that the hose clamp (G) is installed at the mark(H).
  8. Install the splash shield on the bulkhead bracket.
  9. Install the bumper (see FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  10. Install the bulkhead cover (see FRONT BULKHEAD COVER REPLACEMENT ).
