Navigation Display Unit 28P Connector

TERMINAL VOLTAGE REFERENCE TABLE

1 WHT +B (Battery power source) Continuous power source Battery voltage If open: Screen completely off (no backlight visible).
If short to ground: Blows fuse No. 23 (10 A) in the under-hood fuse/relay box.
2 PUR ACC (Accessory) Power source for accessory Battery voltage at ACCESSORY (I) If open: Display and buttons do not work.
If short to ground: Blows fuse No. 35 (10 A) in the under-dash fuse/relay box.
3 BLK GA-NET BUS+ (GA-NET bus positive) Data bus+ GA-Net 0-5 V pulses average 2.5 V depends on bus traffic If open: Navigation buttons and touch screen do not work.
If short to ground: Navigation buttons do not work.
4 BRN(1) GA-NET BUS SH (GA-NET bus shield) Shield for terminals No. 3, 17 0 V If open: No change to display.
If short to ground: No change to display.
5 BLK GA-NET ECU BUS+ (Display bus positive) Data bus+ GA-Net 0-5 V pulses average 2.5 V depends on bus traffic If open: Navigation buttons do not work.
If short to ground: Navigation buttons do not work.
6 RED SECURITY 1 Security signal from MICU 0 V If open: The security system will set, and will not trip when screen is removed.
If short to ground: The security system will set, and will not trip when screen is removed.
8 WHT R SIG (Red signal) Green color signal 0.7 VAC in RGB color diagnostic mode If open: Red color missing (see ).
If short to ground: Red color missing (see ).
9 RED G SIG (Green signal) Red color signal 0.7 VAC in RGB color diagnostic mode If open: Green color missing (see ).
If short to ground: Green color missing (see ).
10 BLK GND (Ground) Ground for display unit (G403) 0 V If open: No change to display.
If short to ground: No change to display.
11 GRY(1) CAMERA SH (Shield camera) Shield for terminals No. 12, 13, 26, 27 0 V If open: No change to rearview camera image.
If short to ground: No change to rearview camera image.
12 GRN CAMERA GND (Ground camera) Ground for camera signal 0 V If open: No change to rearview camera image.
If short to ground: No change to rearview camera image.
13 BLU CAMERA (VCC supply) Power source for rearview camera 8V If open: When put into reverse, the navigation screen goes black (backlight still operation)
If short to ground: When put into reverse, the navigation screen goes black (backlight still operative).
15 PNK ILL+ (Illumination positive) Parking light on signal from dash and console lights Battery voltage if lights on: otherwise 0 V If open: When brightness=Auto, night mode for the display is inoperative when lights on.
If short to ground: brightness=Auto, night mode for the display is inoperative when lights on.
16 ORN BACK LT-(Back light or reverse signal) Reverse signal of select lever from MICU (Multiplex Integrated Control Unit) In reverse, battery voltage: Otherwise 0 V If open: Navigation never sees reverse.
Diagnostic screen Car Status, Back=0. If short to ground: Check the backup light circuit.
17 WHT GA BUS-(GA-NET bus negative) GA-NET data bus- 0-5 V pulses average 2.5 V depends on bus traffic If open: Navigation buttons do not work.
If short to ground: Hard buttons work OK.
18 BRN(1) GA-NET ECU BUS SH (Display bus shield) Shield for display bus terminals No. 5, 19 0 V If open: Red color missing (see ).
If short to ground: Red color missing (see ).
19 WHT GA-NET ECU BUS-(ECU bus negative) GA-NET data bus- 0-5 V pulses average 2.5 V depends on bus traffic If open: Navigation buttons and touch screen do not work.
If short to ground: Hard and touch buttons work OK.
20 PNK SECURITY- Security signal from 0 V If open: The security system will set, and will not trip when screen is removed.
If short to ground: The security system will set, and will not trip when screen is removed.
21 BLK GND SIG (Ground signal) Ground for color signal 0 V If open: No change to display.
If short to ground: No change to display.
22 YEL B SIG (Blue signal) Blue color signal 0-1 VAC If open: Blue color missing (see ).
If short to ground: Blue color missing (see ).
23 GRN C SIG (Composite signal) Composite video (vertical/horizontal) synchronizing signal 0.3 V AC If open: Picture rolls horizontally, colors still visible.
If short to ground: Picture rolls horizontally, colors still visible.
24 BRN(1) SIG SH (RGB/C signal Shield) Shield for terminals No. 8, 9, 21, 22, 23 0 V If open: No change to display.
If short to ground: No change to display.
26 WHT RC VCC (Video camera) Video signal from rearview camera 0.3V If open: No change to rearview camera image.
If short to ground: No change to rearview camera image.
27 RED RC GND (Ground camera) Ground for rearview camera signal 0 V If open: No change to rearview camera image.
If short to ground: No change to rearview camera image.
28 YEL CAMERA ADPT (Adaptive camera) Control signal for rearview camera 0 V If open: No change to rearview camera image.
If short to ground: No change to rearview camera image.
(1) The shielded wires have a heat-shrunk tube insulating the outside of the wire. The color of the insulating tube, typically black or dark gray, may not match the color of the wire listed on the schematic.
