DTC P06AF
DTC P06AF: Engine Stall
General Description
In the event no engine torque is generated, the generator motor will waste the energy of the high voltage battery. It is determined that engine torque is not generated when the engine speed decreases or the engine stops after maintaining engine revolution by assist by the generator motor for a given period of time. When engine torque is still not generated after trying to restart the engine for a given number of times, the powertrain control module (PCM) detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.
