DTC P1D8D: General Description
Symptom 1
When an overcurrent (short circuit current) passes through the IGBT at the generator motor side, the power control unit (PCU) detects a trouble (SC) with the GDIC function and, at the same time when outputting a failure information (SC) to the main microcomputer, blocks a gate signal. The failure information (SC) from the GDIC is released after a specified time has elapsed if the failure is restored to normal. If a specified number of SC signals are issued, the motor control module in the PCU detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.
Symptom 2
When a trouble with the power supply which drives the IGBT at the generator motor side occurs, the PCU detects a trouble (F15V) with the GDIC function and, at the same time when outputting a failure information (F15V) to the main microcomputer, blocks a gate signal. If an F15V signal and CAN information (TRC FO) from the high-voltage microcomputer are detected for a specified time, the motor control module in the PCU detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.
