To control the temperature of power control unit (PCU) coolant, while monitoring the coolant temperature and the temperature of each part, the PCU drives the PCU electric coolant pump and sends a drive request to the radiator fan. If the coolant temperature is extraordinarily high although the PCU provides the PCU electric coolant pump and radiator fan with an adequate command, the PCU detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.
