A/C Signal Circuit Troubleshooting: Inspection

ACC [A/C_MG_CLUTCH_RLY_CL-] Open Wire Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  1. -

     A/C compressor clutch relay: disconnected

  2. -

     PCM connector E (80P): disconnected

• Procedure
  1. -

     Perform the inspection according to the following table.

			(Disconnected) A/C compressor clutch relay socket (4P) female terminals	(Disconnected) PCM connector E (80P)  female terminals

	ACC [A/C_MG_CLUTCH_RLY_CL-] open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

PCM Inspection 

Preconditions 

• A/C Compressor Clutch Check is normal

Test Procedure 

A/C clutch drive inspection

• Preparation
  1. -

     PCM connector E (80P): disconnected

• Procedure
  • Jump the PCM connector E (80P) terminal No. 31 and body ground with a jumper wire.
  • Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

	(Disconnected) PCM connector E (80P)  female terminals

• Normal Conditions
  1. -

     There is a clicking noise from the A/C compressor clutch.

Results 

• If it is normal, there is a problem with the PCM.
• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with other related components.
