Confirmation Procedure

Operating Condition 

• Start the engine.
• Drive the vehicle at a speed of 6 mph (10 km/h) or less for at least 2 seconds.
• Accelerate the vehicle to 25 mph (40 km/h) or more for at least 2 seconds.
• Slow down the vehicle to 6 mph (10 km/h) or less for at least 2 seconds.
• Stop the vehicle.
• Shift the transmission to other than R position/mode for at least 1 minute.
• Shift the transmission to R position/mode for at least 10 times.
• Shift the transmission to other than N position/mode for at least 1 minute.
• Shift the transmission to N position/mode for at least 10 times.
• Shift the transmission to other than D position/mode for at least 1 minute.
• Shift the transmission to D position/mode for at least 10 times.
  • Drive the vehicle in this manner only if the traffic regulations and ambient conditions allow.
