Preconditions
- Engine Warmed UpNOTE:
Warm up the engine by raising the engine speed around 3,000 rpm until the cooling fan(s) comes on.
- Idle Speed Normal Condition
- HDS Connected
- Following No Load Conditions

Headlights OFF
- -
Blower Fan OFF
- -
Rear Window Defogger OFF
- -
Air Conditioner OFF
- -
Radiator Fan OFF

Procedure/Specifications
1. Warm up and calibrate the CO meter according to the meter manufacturer's instructions.
2. Keep idling under no load conditions, then check idle CO.

- If you are unable to obtain the specified reading; see DTC troubleshooting - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the CVT System or How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems . In addition, check for aftermarket parts that are installed. Retest the vehicle once the vehicle is returned to its factory built condition.
- Engine Warmed Up
