Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS in SIR Caution and Notices.
  1. Disable the SIR System. Refer to ZONE 3 in SIR Disabling and Enabling.
  2. Remove the steering wheel. Refer to STEERING WHEEL REPLACEMENT in Steering Wheel and Column.
  3. Remove the access plate covering the back of the switch.

  4. Remove the cruise control lever retaining screws (1).
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector.
