Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT:
If the MAF/IAT sensor is installed backwards, the fuel system goes rich. An arrow cast into the plastic portion of the sensor indicates proper air flow direction. The arrow must point toward the engine.
- If necessary, install the MAF/IAT sensor.NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
- Tighten the MAF/IAT sensor clamp.
Tighten: Tighten the clamp to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
- Connect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector (3).
- Install the intake air resonator. Refer to Intake Air Resonator Replacement .
