Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Chevrolet Corvette. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the Bose® signal processing module into position on the steering column bracket.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the Bose® signal processing module retaining bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the Bose® signal processing module retaining bolts to 2.5 N.m (22 Ib. in).

  3. Connect the electrical/audio connector to the signal processing module.
  4. Install the IP left lower insulator panel. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  5. Install the RDO/ANT MiniFuse® #24 to the IP electrical center.
  6. Install the cover to the I/P electrical center.
  7. Install the front floor kick-up panel. Refer to KICK-UP PANEL REPLACEMENT - FRONT FLOOR in Interior Trim.
