Removal Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connectors from the stop lamp switch.
Rotate the stop lamp switch counterclockwise and remove the switch from the switch retainer.

IMPORTANT: Depressing the brake pedal will allow easier access to the locking tabs on the stop lamp retainer.

Gently compress the locking tabs on the switch retainer and remove the switch retainer from the brake pedal assembly.
