Installation Procedure

  1. Install the quarter window into the opening. Refer to Urethane Adhesive Installation of Encapsulated Stationary Windows .
    2. Fig 1: Quarter Window

  2. Ensure the pinchweld is primed properly.
  3. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
  4. Reposition the midgate window weatherstrip to the pinchweld flange.
  5. Install the rear lock pillar garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Lock Pillar Upper in Interior Trim.
  6. Close the midgate.
  7. Install the rear header garnish molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Roof Rear Header Garnish in Exterior Trim.
  8. Install the rear sail panel molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Sail Panel (Left Side) in Exterior Trim.
