Installation Procedure

Complete the following in order to install the air cleaner element (1) into the lower air cleaner housing assembly (2):
1. Align the opening of the element with the duct opening.
2. Engage the alignment feature in the element (3) with the retainer (4) molded into the lower air cleaner assembly.

Insert the air cleaner cover tangs into the lower air cleaner housing assembly slots.

IMPORTANT: Ensure the cover is properly seated with the lower housing.

Close the air cleaner cover (1), ensuring the alignment feature in the element engages with the retainer molded in the cover (1).
Secure the air cleaner clips (2) to the air cleaner cover (1).
