Installation Procedure

  1. Position the switch (2) near the bracket.
  2. Ensure the switch key-way is properly indexed to the plastic retainer (1).
  3. IMPORTANT: Ensure the brake pedal is in a full back position and the tip of the stop lamp switch has contacted the brake pedal arm. Ensure the collapsing tip on the switch is fully retracted before rotation.
  4. Install the switch into the retainer and push forward ensuring tip of the switch is fully collapsed into the switch cavity.
  5. Turn the switch clockwise, locking the switch into the plastic retainer.
  6. Ensure the switch is fully seated into the retainer.

  8. Connect the stop lamp switch electrical connector (1).
  9. Check the switch for proper operation.
