Programming the BCM

IMPORTANT: After the procedure is completed, the personalization settings of the BCM are set to a default setting. Inform the customer that the personalization must be set again.

This vehicle uses Service Programming System (SPS) and Tech 2 pass-thru method of programming, requiring special tool EL-49642 SPS Programming Support Tool and Tech 2. See Service Programming System (SPS) 

  1. Connect the scan tool to the vehicle in the pass-thru arrangement.
  2. Ignition ON, engine OFF.
  3. On the Techline Terminal, select Service Programming System and follow the Techline Terminal on-screen instructions.
